Ahmedabad: The plane crash on Thursday in Meghaninagar in Ahmedabad, the capital of Gujarat, shook the country. Air India's Dreamliner Aircraft AI 171, which was going from Ahmedabad to London, crashed into the Meghaninagar area, located just a few seconds after the takeoff.
The hostel building of the medical college fell, causing heavy arson and chaos in the area. A total of 242 people were aboard the aircraft. So far, many people have been confirmed, and dozens of injuries have been confirmed in the accident.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, relief and rescue work is going on fast after this horrific accident. NDRF and other agencies are engaged in removing people trapped in the debris by reaching the spot. The injured passengers have been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad.

Big announcement of compensation
Meanwhile, the Tata Group, which owns Air India, expressed deep condolences for the accident and made a big announcement of compensation. Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran said that the group will give assistance of Rs 1 crore to the family of each deceased.
In addition, the Tata group will bear the cost of the entire treatment of passengers who have been injured. He also said that B.J. was located at the accident site. The hostel building of the medical college will be reconstructed by the Tata Group.

Chandrasekaran said, "We are standing with the families of the victims in this hour of grief." Our priority is to provide excellent medical facilities to all the injured and re-erect the affected hostel building."
Black box recovered
After this incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and many other leaders have expressed deep condolences. According to Ahmedabad police, the black box of the aircraft has been recovered, and DGCA and other aviation agencies have started investigating the accident.
Assistance to affected families
In the accident, a passenger sitting on seat number 11A is reported to have survived, which they survived in a miraculous manner. The incident is currently under investigation, and all possible assistance is being given to the affected families.
