: AIIMS Gorakhpur Announces Multiple Professor Job Vacancies
Gorakhpur: There is a good opportunity for candidates looking for a job in the medical field. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur has issued a notification for recruitment to various posts of Super Specialty Faculty (Group-A). This recruitment will be done on contract basis, as well as retired faculty will also be provided opportunities on contract basis.
Number of posts
A total of 50 posts of Super Specialty Faculty (Group-A) will be recruited through this recruitment drive.
Recruitment will be done on these posts
These include 6 posts of Professor, 5 posts of Additional Professor, 18 posts of Associate Professor and 21 posts of Assistant Professor.
Educational Qualification
If you want to apply for a general medical faculty post, then you must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) degree in that subject. This degree must be from a recognized institute.
If you are applying for a super specialty (such as cardiology, neurosurgery etc.), then you must have a Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Master of Chirurgy (M.Ch.) degree in that field, which can be a course of 2, 3 or 5 years duration.
Age limit
The maximum age for this recruitment should be 58 years, that is, people above 58 years of age cannot apply.
Application fee
General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 3000. At the same time, SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates will not have to pay any fee, application is free for them.
Salary
In this recruitment, there will be appointments on the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate and Assistant Professor. Salary is from Rs to Rs 2,20,400 as per 7th Pay Commission, along with allowances and NPA (if applicable).
The recruitment process will be on direct recruitment, deputation or contract basis. There will be only direct recruitment for Assistant Professor. Retired professors will get a remuneration of Rs 2,20,000 per month for consultant post and Rs 2,00,000 per month for additional professor.
AIIMS Gorakhpur is a government medical university located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and a premier medical institution. It is one of the 20 AIIMS operating in India and one of the four "Phase-IV" AIIMS announced in July 2014.
