
Car Suddenly Catch Fire and Kill Four in Ajmer (Img: Internet)
Ajmer: A devastating road accident in the Borada police station area of Ajmer district has left four people dead after a moving car suddenly caught fire near Sri Rampura village on Thursday morning.
The vehicle was carrying former village head Ramsingh Choudhary, his family members, and district council member Pusi Devi when the incident occurred. The group was reportedly on their way to a hospital after Pusi Devi complained of chest pain.
According to local reports, the car left Sri Rampura village around 5:30 am. Within a short distance, the vehicle unexpectedly caught fire while in motion. The flames spread rapidly, turning the car into a fireball within moments.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the fire intensified so quickly that the occupants had no time to escape. Ramsingh Choudhary, his wife Suryajan Devi, and their niece Mahima were trapped inside the vehicle as the doors reportedly jammed during the blaze.
All three died on the spot after being engulfed by flames.
Ramsingh’s mother, Pusi Devi, was rescued from the burning car by locals, but she had already suffered severe burn injuries covering more than 60 percent of her body. Despite being rushed for medical treatment, she later succumbed to her injuries.
The tragic incident has left residents of Sri Rampura village and nearby areas in deep shock, with an entire family wiped out in a matter of minutes.
Police and local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. Officials are examining whether a mechanical fault or another factor led to the sudden ignition of the vehicle.
The accident has raised serious concerns in the region as families mourn the loss of four lives in the heartbreaking tragedy.
