Ambala: A man has been arrested in Ambala, Haryana, on charges of spying for Pakistan. The accused has been identified as Sunil alias Sunny, a resident of Ambala.

His father is a retired employee of the Indian Railways. Several suspicious items were found on his phone. He is currently being interrogated in connection with the case.

Ambala DSP Crime Virender Kumar said that Ambala police received information that a suspicious man was providing information about our defense areas, especially the Air Force.

Following questioning, a case was registered against him. He was subsequently arrested, and his mobile phone was seized.

Father is a retired railway employee

Many suspicious items were found on the accused's phone. Information has emerged that he was a contractor since 2020 and handled repair work at the Air Force station.

He was in contact with a woman who would ask him for information, which he would then share. According to his device, he was sending information to the neighboring country. We will investigate further as we need to analyze the evidence ourselves.

The accused's name is Sunil alias Sunny, and he is a resident of Ambala. His father is a retired employee of the Indian Railways. The accused also has two children.

He is currently on a four-day remand. The investigation is in its initial stages, so we will see what emerges later.
