New Delhi: The BJP's victory in Bengal is historic. Its chief strategist has been Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In the run-up to the Bengal elections, Shah remained camped in the state for 15 days. By day, he conducted rallies and roadshows; by night, he reviewed every single constituency, personally overseeing the micro-management of the campaign.
Reflecting on the victory, Shah stated that Bengal has taught a fitting lesson to infiltrators and their sympathizers. He asserted that political parties relying on the politics of appeasement would not soon forget this lesson. Shah pledged that the BJP would build a 'Sonar Bangla' (Golden Bengal). Standing alongside Shah were five other leaders who held the line on every front.

The head of the BJP's IT Cell spearheaded the battle of narratives. Leveraging social media platforms, he amplified various issues on a massive scale and provided an effective counter-response to the opposition's propaganda machinery.
