New Delhi: Indian Air Force Group Captain and astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla  has returned safely to Earth after spending 20 days in space and 18 days on the space station. Shubhanshu Shukla and his team left for Earth on Monday aboard the Dragon spacecraft. This mission was started under the Axiom-4 mission. In the farewell ceremony before his historic journey back to Earth, Shubhanshu Shukla shared a glimpse of India’s strength and confidence from space.

Shubhanshu Shukla’s spacecraft will land in sea near the California coast on Tuesday. All kinds of preparations have been made there for this. His spacecraft undocking from the space station, necessary for departure to Earth, will take place at 4:35 pm IST. After this, the spacecraft will splash down in the sea near the coast of California on Tuesday at 3:01 pm IST after a journey of 22.5 hours. This entire process will be automatic and will not require any manual intervention.
