Ayodhya gears up for Ram Lalla Abhishekam today
Ayodhya: A grand Abhishekam (consecration ceremony) of Ram Lalla will be held on Wednesday at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on the occasion of Pratishtha Dwadashi. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will participate in this special religious ceremony.
The Defence Minister will arrive in Ayodhya at 11:00 AM and will spend approximately four hours at the temple complex, participating in various rituals.
He will also hoist the flag on the spire of the Annapurna Temple located within the temple complex. The second anniversary of the consecration of Ram Lalla in the grand temple is being celebrated with great fervor.
This day is of immense significance as part of the ongoing Patotsav (festival) on the occasion of Pratishtha Dwadashi.
The consecration of Ram Lalla was performed on the day of Pratishtha Dwadashi. On this auspicious date, Ram Lalla will be consecrated amidst Vedic chants. Traditional rituals of Yagna, Havan, and Puja will be performed.
Along with the Defence Minister and the Chief Minister, saints, religious leaders, and a large number of devotees will witness this historic moment.
Special arrangements for darshan and movement
The Defence Minister will also inspect the ongoing construction work of the temple. After participating in the rituals, he will address a ceremony organized at the Angad Tila complex.
He will depart from Ayodhya at 3:20 PM. Extensive security arrangements have been made in view of the Defence Minister's visit. Additional security forces have been deployed in the temple complex and surrounding areas, while special arrangements have been made for the convenience of devotees for darshan and movement.
On the occasion of Pratishtha Dwadashi, Ayodhya is completely immersed in a devotional atmosphere. The city is filled with the joyous sounds of bhajans, kirtans, Ram Katha, and chants of "Jai Shri Ram," creating a festive spirit of unparalleled enthusiasm.
