Ayodhya: A 22-foot-tall and 11-foot-wide triangular saffron flag will now fly atop the grand Shri Ram Temple being built in Ayodhya. This historic flag hoisting ceremony will be held on November 25th, the auspicious occasion of Vivah Panchami. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will hoist the flag atop the 191-foot-tall summit. The flag will feature symbols related to the Suryavanshi and Treta Yugas.

Religious Committee Reviews Preparations

The Religious Committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust met on Friday at Vaidehi Bhavan, Janaki Ghat, for this important event. The meeting was attended by Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, Treasurer Govind Devgiri, members Dr Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao, along with other officials. Committee member Gopal Rao informed that the outline of the flag hoisting ceremony has been finalized and its format is under consideration.

The guest list is being finalized. This event will be not only religiously significant but also culturally significant, marking a historic moment for Ayodhya.

Preparations For Grand Deepotsav at the Saryu Ghat

This year, the banks of the Saryu are being decorated with unprecedented grandeur for the Deepotsav. The ghats are being beautified with red sandstone, creating a stunning blend of antiquity and modernity. The ghats, adorned with modern lighting systems, will glow with a golden glow under the light of the lamps.

New Facilities for Devotees

Relaxing canopies are being constructed along the 300-meter stretch from Ram Ki Paidi to Laxman Ghat. Facilities such as seating arrangements, drinking water, toilets, changing rooms, and ramps are being developed for the devotees. Inscriptions are also being installed on the ghats, detailing their religious and historical significance.

Grand Display of Ayodhya's Divinity

According to officials, all construction and decoration work will be completed by October 15. During the Deepotsav, the cultural grandeur and divinity of Ayodhya will be showcased amidst the glow of millions of lamps on the banks of the Saryu River, creating an unforgettable experience for devotees and tourists.
