New Delhi: Baloch rebels again attacked the Pakistani army on Saturday. This attack took place in Mangochar city of Balochistan, where a Pakistani army convoy was attacked with a bomb. Several soldiers are reported to have been killed.
According to Dynamite News correspondent, this attack took place at two different places and the vehicles of the convoy were targeted.
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for this attack. According to reports, the reason for this attack may be the murder of senior Baloch journalist Latif Baloch, for which BLA has taken revenge.
Baloch leaders say that Latif Baloch was killed by militias linked to the Pakistani army. They say that an armed squad entered Baloch’s house and killed him with bullets, and all this happened in front of his wife and children.
Latif Baloch was associated with Aaj News, a leading news channel of Pakistan, and was reporting on Baloch human rights and local oppression.
Defense experts believe that the Pakistani army has become very angry after Operation Sindoor and is targeting Baloch rebels. In response, the BLA has intensified several attacks in the last 15 days.
The army captures local people, beats them up and makes them disappear. Attacks are also being carried out against those who report these incidents. Now, the rebel organization is directly targeting the army, and attacks have taken place in Quetta, Panjgur and Mangochar in recent months.
The Balochistan Liberation Army and other rebel groups say that they are fighting for their independence and do not want to live with Pakistan.
They allege that the Pakistan government is exploiting their resources and not giving basic rights to the local people.
When people demand these rights, they are attacked. The killing of Latif Baloch has further increased this resentment and now anger against the Pakistan Army is increasing in different areas of Balochistan.
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador P.
