Bareilly: After nearly four days of violence in Bareilly, the situation is gradually coming under control. Police have taken continuous action and arrested over 62 rioters so far and made several significant revelations. The violence was planned in a meticulous manner, and the two main masterminds, Maulana Tauqeer Raza and Nadeem, have been arrested.

Nadeem called a total of 55 people through WhatsApp calls, through whom a plan was hatched to involve approximately 1,600 people in the violence. These people were instructed to use minors to carry out the protests, similar to the protests against the CAA-NRC. Along with Nadeem, Dr. Nafees, a close associate of Maulana Tauqeer, was also involved in this conspiracy and has been arrested by the police. Dr Nafees is also said to be the spokesperson and national general secretary of the IMC.
Police have sealed Nafees' office and 74 shops. Additionally, property worth over ₹150 crore belonging to Tauqeer Raza and his close associates has been seized. Nadeem is also accused of forging signatures, misusing the name of Liaquat Khan. Nadeem also stole police wireless sets, using which he was receiving information on police movements.
Internet services were shut down in Bareilly on Saturday evening during the violence to control the situation. However, as the situation has returned to normal, internet services have been restored since Sunday morning. This will allow for smooth daily activities and communication.

Police have so far registered a total of 10 cases and arrested a large number of rioters. On Monday, 29 rioters were sent to jail, restoring peace to the area. This strict police action has improved law and order in Bareilly and brought a sense of relief to the public.
