50 Feet Long and 80 Feet Wide Stage Being Built
A stage approximately 150 feet long and 80 feet wide is being constructed for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the mosque. It will have seating arrangements for approximately 400 guests. To ensure the smooth running of all activities, approximately 3000 volunteers from Humayun and his trust have been deployed. Their main responsibility is to control the crowd and ensure smooth traffic on the national highway near the venue. Kabir says that many guests from North Bengal have already arrived. BJP Launches Attack
BJP leader and former MP Arjun Singh warned that if Humayun Kabir tries to build a Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, he will send him to meet Babar (the Mughal emperor). There will be no foundation stone laying ceremony; it's all a drama.
He said that India is a Hindu-majority country. Anyone can build a mosque, but using the name Babri is an insult to the Constitution. It should be noted that central forces are already deployed in the district in view of the previous violence in Rejinagar.
Under tight security, Border Security Force (BSF) troops were conducting route marches. Meanwhile, in Kolkata, the Sanatan Samaj will celebrate Shaurya Diwas (Valor Day) today, in which BJP leaders will participate.
