Security Heightened After Red Fort Blast

The investigation is ongoing, and forensic experts are collecting evidence from the scene. Senior Delhi Police officials have stated that there is no need to panic, but it is important to remain vigilant. Local residents have been urged to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.

Growing Security Concerns in Delhi

Two consecutive blasts have raised serious security concerns in Delhi. First, at the Red Fort, and now in the Mahipalpur area near the airport, the sound of explosions has indicated that the capital could be a target of terrorists.

The Union Home Ministry has also sought a detailed report from the Delhi Police and intelligence agencies. Security and surveillance in Delhi are likely to be further strengthened in the coming days.
