Dehradun: There is a happy occasion for ITI, polytechnic diploma, and degree holders of Uttarakhand. Actually, under the Chief Minister's Skill Development and Global Employment Scheme, the Employment Department has sought applications from the candidates. For the first time, the government is giving engineering students a chance to work abroad. These youth will earn lakhs of rupees by working in Germany.

Technical Qualification

According to the information, the youth who have a degree or diploma in automobile, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics can apply for this. Apart from this, youth doing two-year ITI courses in electrical, motor mechanics, or automobiles can also go to Germany.

All of them must have three years of experience in passenger cars or two years in commercial vehicles. Also, they will have to learn the German language, which the department will teach.

This much salary will be given.

Youths going to Germany will get a salary of 2800 euros per month (Rs 250,000).

Free training in the German language will be given.

The Employment and Skill Development Department of the state will provide free German language training to these youth. There will be free accommodation and food for the training. Free visa and ticket will be provided. The government will bear 20 percent of the total training cost. Along with the facility of skill loan, the government will also bear 75 percent of the loan interest.

Opportunities for youth who have passed hotel management in Japan

Apart from this, youth who have done a degree, diploma, or certificate course in hotel management will be given employment in Japan. Earlier, 15 youth were given training in the Japanese language, out of which 13 have passed the N4 level examination, and four are already working in Japan. Now applications have been sought for the new batch. The selected candidates will be given free Japanese language training, free accommodation and food, and guidance to get jobs in Japanese companies at the institute located in Sahaspur.

Earlier, 15 youth of hotel management were given training, out of which 13 passed the N-4 course of Japanese language. Out of these, four youths are working in Japan. Now applications have started for the new batch. After selecting the youth, they will be given a course in Japanese language. They will also get free food and accommodation along with free training at the institute located in Sahaspur.
