Patna: Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released the much-awaited recruitment notification (Bihar Police SI Enforcement Recruitment 2025) to fill the vacant posts of Enforcement Sub-Inspector. Under this recruitment, the application process for interested and eligible candidates started on 30 May 2025.
The last date for submission of applications has been fixed as 30 June 2025. Candidates will be able to apply online by visiting the official website of the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, bpssc.bihar.gov.in. This recruitment is a golden opportunity for those candidates who want to make a career as sub-inspector in Bihar Police.
According to the Dynamite News correspondent, to participate in this recruitment, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed graduation from a recognized university or institute. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of male candidates should be 21 years, and the maximum age should be 37 years.
At the same time, the maximum age for female candidates has been fixed at 40 years. Candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per rules. At the same time, age will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2025.
Physical Criteria
Physical efficiency is also an important criterion for recruitment. The minimum height of male candidates should be 165 cm, along with their chest measurement should be 79 cm without inflation and 84 cm with inflation. The minimum height for female candidates has been fixed at 150 cm. Candidates who do not follow the physical parameters will not be able to proceed in the recruitment process.

Candidates from General, OBC, EWS, and other states will have to pay Rs 750 as an application fee. At the same time, the fee for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and women candidates of Bihar has been fixed at Rs 400. The fee can be paid online.
Selection Process
Under Bihar Police Enforcement Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2025, the candidates will be selected in three phases. First of all, the candidates will have to give the preliminary exam. The candidates who are successful in this examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. In the final stage, the candidates will have to appear for the interview. The candidates who are successful in all the stages will be appointed to the post of Enforcement Sub-Inspector.
