Party functionaries from across the state are also expected to be part of the deliberations.

Mathura Meeting to Focus on Organisation and Poll Preparedness

The discussions are expected to cover the party’s organisational preparedness, regional feedback and its election strategy for 2027. Sources cited in reports said the BJP is reviewing its organisation from the booth level through Shakti Kendra, Mandal and district structures as part of its preparations.

Krishna Janmabhoomi and Hindutva in Political Focus

Mathura’s importance in the BJP’s political planning also brings the Krishna Janmabhoomi issue into focus. Reports indicate that the party is looking beyond its previous emphasis on Ayodhya and is placing greater attention on Mathura and the wider Braj region ahead of the next Assembly election.

The debate examined the BJP’s organisational preparations, its focus on Mathura and the issues likely to shape the political contest in Uttar Pradesh.

From Ayodhya to Mathura

The upcoming meeting marks another step in the BJP’s broader organisational exercise ahead of the 2027 polls. The party has been conducting regional reviews and organisational meetings across Uttar Pradesh as it works on its election preparedness.

The Mathura meeting is expected to provide a platform for senior leaders to assess the political and organisational situation across the state and discuss the party’s approach for the next Assembly election.
