New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued important directives regarding the evaluation process of board examination answer sheets. The Board has clearly stated that maintaining confidentiality regarding this process is paramount, and no information related to it should be shared on public platforms.

Ban on Sharing Information on Social Media

CBSE has clarified that teachers evaluating the answer sheets for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations must not post their experiences, comments, or any information related to the evaluation process on social media or other public platforms.

The Board believes that doing so could compromise the confidentiality and credibility of the examination system.

Board on Alert Following Social Media Posts

According to CBSE, it has come to the Board's notice that some evaluators were sharing details regarding their experiences of evaluating papers and specific student responses on social media.

Such posts can create confusion among students and parents; therefore, the Board has adopted a strict stance on this matter and issued a warning.

Key Directives Outlined in the Circular

The CBSE circular states that the dissemination of any misleading or unverified information regarding the examination and evaluation process is strictly prohibited.

Furthermore, using the CBSE name, logo, or images of the CBSE building to spread false information is also not permitted.

Legal Action for Violating Rules

The Board has issued a clear warning that if any teacher or individual is found to be in violation of these rules, legal action may be initiated against them.

CBSE has stated that sharing personal opinions or experiences related to the evaluation process is also a violation of the rules.

Appeal to Students and Parents

CBSE has appealed to students, parents, and the general public to rely solely on official sources for information regarding the examinations. The Board emphasizes that maintaining the confidentiality and credibility of the examination system is a collective responsibility.
