Jammu: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps on Thursday visited the headquarters of Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Romeo and reviewed the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness of military formations deployed in the hinterland areas of the strategically important Rajouri-Poonch region.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the current security environment, surveillance mechanisms, counter-infiltration measures and steps being taken to further strengthen operational capabilities.
The security review focused on the preparedness of formations and units operating in the hinterland, with emphasis on maintaining effective surveillance, improving coordination and ensuring quick response capabilities in the face of emerging security challenges.
