RS and LS Remained Paralysed For 3rd Day
New Delhi: Both the Houses of Parliament remained paralysed on the third day of the Monsoon session on Wednesday as opposition members protested over the police crackdown on students and alleged NEET paper leak, and demanded the resignation of the Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned twice at 11 am and noon before the House was adjourned to 2 pm, with the Opposition raising, particularly, the student lathicharge and demanding immediate resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. When the House resumed at 2 pm, the Opposition was adamant on the resignation
of the minister by holding moral responsibility for the NEET paper leak. With the sloganeering from the opposition increasing, the chair adjourned the House for the day.

Similar scenes were also witnessed in the Rajya Sabha, with sloganeering by Congress members and others condemning the lathicharge on students and demanding the resignation of the Minister. The House had to adjourn three times before it was adjourned for the day.
In Lok Sabha, the Opposition members stepped up their offensive against the central government, with several leaders, including the leader of the opposition, Rahul Gandhi, seen
dressed in black robes to protest the alleged manhandling of students and MPs by security forces.MPs from the Congress, the Samajwadi Party and the TMC were seen in the protests.
Marking it as a " black day," the demonstration served as a unified front against the government's handling of recent student agitations and the prevailing unrest over the national education system. Senior MP K Suresh said, " Today, we all are dressed in these black clothes as we are having a demonstration in front of Makar Dwar today over what the police brutally did to the Leader of the Opposition yesterday and other MPs".
