Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the Global South’s confidence in BRICS had increased.
Modi says, "I can say from personal experience that the trust of Global South nations in BRICS has grown, because their voices are heard, their experiences are respected, and solutions are crafted not just for them, but with them. The strength of BRICS lies in our diversity and cooperation. We may be rooted in different realities, but together we rise through cooperation and blossom for humanity. May our diversity remain our identity, our cooperation serve as our inspiration, and our progress benefit all of humanity..."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the BRICS Incubator Network will connect startups and incubators, while the proposed BRICS Startup Innovation Fund will promote innovative and scalable solutions.
He said the BRICS Network on Digital Agriculture will use AI, geospatial technology and digital public infrastructure to address farmers’ needs. Modi also warned that the “weaponisation of technology and critical minerals” could hinder shared progress and stressed the need for inclusivity in technology adoption.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at Bharat Mandapam on Sunday as leaders arrived for Day 2 of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
BRICS leaders have started arriving at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi for the second day of the summit. The leaders are scheduled to take part in a family photo before the main session on “Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability” begins at 10:50 am.
