New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to declare the Class 12 results for 2026 shortly. Over 18 lakh students who appeared for the board exams are eagerly awaiting their scores.
CBSE Controller of Examinations, Sanyam Bhardwaj, confirmed that the results are on schedule and addressed circulating rumors about technical issues in the evaluation process, calling them “inaccurate and misleading.” Students are advised to rely only on official CBSE sources for updates.
To check the result, visit any of the official portals, click on the “CBSE Class 12 Result 2026” link, and enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, and date of birth. Once submitted, your marks will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to download and save a copy of their marksheet for future reference.

The online marksheet will be provisional but valid for college admissions and other official purposes where accepted. Original marksheets and certificates will need to be collected from schools later.
CBSE may also release additional information such as overall pass percentage and the list of toppers. Students who wish to challenge their results can apply for verification of marks, rechecking, or re-evaluation, with detailed guidelines to be shared after the results are declared.
To avoid delays, students should keep their login credentials ready and use alternative platforms like DigiLocker or the UMANG app if official websites experience heavy traffic. It is recommended to download multiple copies of the marksheet for future use.
