Rahul Gandhi slams Centre over IndiGo "Fiasco"
New Delhi: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday criticised the Government and said that the IndiGo "fiasco" is the cost of the Centre's "monopoly model".
He took to social platform X and wrote that the recent disruptions in the airlines is the result of a monopoly in the aviation sector, demanding "fair competition" in the market. Rahul Gandhi said it is ordinary Indians who "pay the price in delays, cancellations and helplessness".
IndiGo fiasco is the cost of this Govt’s monopoly model.
Once again, it’s ordinary Indians who pay the price - in delays, cancellations and helplessness.
India deserves fair competition in every sector, not match-fixing monopolies. https://t.co/sRoigepFgv
