Kedarnath: Chardham Yatra has started today. For the next six months, pilgrims will be able to visit Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

Chardham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in the world.

All these Dhams are dedicated to different deities. Kedarnath Dham is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Badrinath Dham is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Gangotri Dham to Mother Ganga, and Yamunotri Dham to Mother Yamuna.

The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on May 2. The work of decorating the temple has started. Baba Kedar has left for Kedarnath Dham from Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, his winter residence.

The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri are opening today, while the doors of Kedarnath will open on May 2. Earlier, Baba's palanquin left for Gaurikund from Ukhimath. The sight of Baba Kedarnath's Palki Yatra with the drums and the cheers of devotees is amazing.

Baba's Palki Yatra, which started from Ukhimath, will reach Gaurikund via Guptkashi and Phata. This tradition has been going on for centuries with the crowd of devotees and the proclamation of "Har Har Mahadev."

Kedarnath's Panchmukhi Doli left from Omkareshwar Temple on 28 April. It will travel 60 km and finally reach Kedarnath, where Baba will be worshipped for six months.

In winter, Baba is worshipped in Ukhimath, while in summer, in Kedarnath Dham. This tradition is about 300 years old. The Doli of Baba Bholenath's Chal Vigraha Utsav is moving ahead with pomp and show.

The doors of Kedarnath will open at 7 am on May 2. Similarly, the doors of Badrinath Dham will open on May 4. May the blessings of Lord Kedarnath remain on everyone. This holy journey is a unique confluence of faith and devotion.

The government has also made extensive arrangements for the convenience of the pilgrims so that the journey can be safe and smooth. This year, lakhs of devotees are expected to come to the Yatra.

The Char Dham Yatra is a center of faith not only for pilgrims from India but also from abroad. By participating in this holy journey, devotees receive the blessings of God and wish for happiness and prosperity in life.
