New Delhi: China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan on Wednesday agreed to expand the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) up to Afghanistan and strengthen cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), reports Dynamite News correspondent.

This was decided at a meeting between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the country’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Afghanistan’s acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi at a meeting in Beijing, official sources here said.

The three ministers also discussed measures to boost trade and development of infrastructure.

India opposes the CPEC because it is in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK).
