The Chief Justice’s visit prompted special arrangements by the Baba Baidyanath Temple management and the district administration. Security was strengthened across the temple premises and along the designated route of his movement. Access to restricted areas was regulated, while photography and videography were prohibited inside the temple during the visit as part of the security protocol.
The temple management had also undertaken preparations to facilitate the Chief Justice’s visit and ensure the smooth conduct of the religious rituals. Police and administrative officials remained on alert to maintain security and manage the arrangements.

After completing his temple visit, Justice Surya Kant was scheduled to proceed to the Deoghar Civil Court premises to attend the state-level Legal Services-cum-Empowerment Camp as the Chief Guest. The programme, organised under the framework of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), aims to strengthen public awareness about legal aid, access to justice and the availability of legal services.
The camp is intended to connect eligible beneficiaries with legal assistance and make people more aware of their rights and access to justice mechanisms. The Chief Justice’s participation forms part of the programme’s focus on legal awareness and empowerment.
Preparations for the CJI’s Deoghar visit had been underway for several days, with the district administration focusing on security, VIP protocol and coordination among the concerned departments.
Deoghar Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania had earlier stated that Cyclone Arnab had caused some disruptions to preparations over the preceding two days. The administration was, however, accelerating the arrangements to ensure that the visit and associated programmes could be conducted according to schedule.
The Chief Justice’s visit was planned as a brief engagement of approximately two hours in Deoghar, covering the religious programme at Baba Baidyanath Temple and participation in the state-level legal services and empowerment initiative.
