Delhi Weather Turns Pleasant
New Delhi: The weather in Delhi-NCR is expected to change in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures will not exceed 34 degrees Celsius for the next few days. The sky will remain cloudy, providing some relief from the scorching heat.
On April 5, the daytime temperature in the capital is expected to be between 30-32 degrees Celsius and the nighttime temperature is expected to be between 17-19 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain cloudy throughout the day. Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in the evening, which may bring pleasant weather.
The weather will not change much on April 6 either. Daytime temperatures are expected to be between 31-33 degrees Celsius and nighttime temperatures are expected to be between 16-18 degrees Celsius. Due to the presence of clouds, the effect of the scorching sun will be less, and the heat will not be as bothersome.
The Meteorological Department has provided important information regarding April 7 and 8. Light rain with thunderstorms and strong winds is expected on both days. A yellow alert has been issued specifically for April 7, indicating a change in the weather.
The main reason for this change in weather is a new western disturbance, which may affect northwest India from April 7. Consequently, Delhi and surrounding areas may experience cloudy, rainy, and windy weather.
People felt the heat due to the bright sunshine throughout the day on Saturday. Although the Meteorological Department had issued a yellow alert for rain that day, there was no rain at the time of writing. The maximum temperature during this period was 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 20.7 degrees Celsius.
For the time being, the weather in the capital is expected to remain volatile. Clouds, light rain, and strong winds may bring some relief from the heat, but there's a need to remain vigilant due to the changing weather.
