The pilgrimage was stopped only after this.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has constituted a high-level committee to investigate the accident. This committee will be headed by Additional Chief Secretary of the Jal Shakti Department Shaleen Kabra.
