Rekha Gupta permits cafe to open till 4 am for FIFA World Cup final
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Saturday that restaurants, cafes and other eligible establishments across the capital can remain open till 4 am this weekend, allowing fans to fully enjoy the final match of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Chief Minister said the decision has been enabled under the city's 24x7 business-friendly operating framework under the government's ease of doing business reforms.
The announcement was made with the hashtag # FIFAWorldCup2026, aimed at giving football fans in Delhi the flexibility to gather and watch key World Cup final matches during late-night hours.
