Red Fort Bomb Threat Triggers Delhi Alert, Later Found to Be Hoax

New Delhi:  The Red Fort in Delhi received a bomb threat call on Saturday, which created panic and later the found to be a hoax call.

According to the officials, Mumbai Police recived a bomb threat call at Red Fort. The call was made to alert Mumbai Police to keep everyone safe. Mumbai Police immediately infromed Delhi Police control room about the call. 

After the warning was received North District Police carried out necessary checks, the police declared the bomb threat a hoax.

This bomb threat comes a ,month ahead of Independence Day and nearly eight months after 15 people died and over a dozen were injured in a high-intensity vehicle-borne IED blast near the Red Fort Metro Station.
