Delhi Traffic Police Warns Of Diversions At Key Junctions (Img: X)
New Delhi: Traffic movement is likely to be affected across several parts of Delhi on Monday, October 12, due to the prevailing law and order situation, the Delhi Traffic Police said in an advisory.
Diversions may come into force from 6 am, depending on the situation on the ground. Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys in advance, allow extra travel time and avoid non-essential trips, particularly through New Delhi and Central Delhi.
The Delhi Traffic Police has identified 30 junctions and stretches where traffic movement may be affected. These include key roads, flyovers and roundabouts across central and south Delhi.
The locations listed in the advisory are:

The traffic police has urged people travelling towards railway stations, inter-state bus terminals (ISBTs) and the airport through New Delhi and Central Delhi to set aside additional time for their journeys.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY
In view of the demonstration scheduled at DDU Marg on 12.10.2026, traffic restrictions and diversions will remain in force in and around ITO and adjoining areas from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM.

Commuters have also been advised to avoid non-essential travel in areas likely to face restrictions. Traffic arrangements may change depending on real-time assessments of the situation, with restrictions eased or tightened as required.
The Delhi Traffic Police has asked commuters to follow its official platforms for real-time traffic updates, information on diversions and alternative routes.
