Delhi Traffic Advisory: Diversions Likely At 30 Key Junctions On October 12 Amid Law And Order Situation

Delhi Traffic Police has warned of possible diversions at 30 junctions from 6 am on October 12 amid a law and order situation, advising commuters to plan ahead.

New Delhi: Traffic movement is likely to be affected across several parts of Delhi on Monday, October 12, due to the prevailing law and order situation, the Delhi Traffic Police said in an advisory.

Diversions may come into force from 6 am, depending on the situation on the ground. Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys in advance, allow extra travel time and avoid non-essential trips, particularly through New Delhi and Central Delhi.

Traffic Restrictions Likely At Major Junctions

The Delhi Traffic Police has identified 30 junctions and stretches where traffic movement may be affected. These include key roads, flyovers and roundabouts across central and south Delhi.

Commuters Advised To Plan Journeys

The traffic police has urged people travelling towards railway stations, inter-state bus terminals (ISBTs) and the airport through New Delhi and Central Delhi to set aside additional time for their journeys.

Commuters have also been advised to avoid non-essential travel in areas likely to face restrictions. Traffic arrangements may change depending on real-time assessments of the situation, with restrictions eased or tightened as required.
