Humid Conditions and Rising Temperatures Raise Heat Concerns
New Delhi: Delhi residents are likely to experience another hot and humid day on Friday, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 41 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may hover near 33 degrees Celsius. The weather forecast indicates that the national capital will continue to witness intense summer conditions over the coming week.
According to the latest weather forecast, the mercury is expected to remain around 33 degrees Celsius during the early hours before climbing steadily through the day. The combination of high temperatures and warm conditions may make outdoor activities uncomfortable, particularly during afternoon hours.
Winds are expected to blow at a speed of around 7.7 kmph, with gusts reaching approximately 9.2 kmph. The wind direction is likely to remain around 275 degrees. However, these wind conditions may provide only limited relief from the prevailing heat.
The sun rose over the capital at 5:23 AM on Friday and is expected to set at 7:21 PM, resulting in a long daylight period that could contribute to the rise in daytime temperatures.
The weather outlook suggests that Delhi will continue to remain under the influence of hot conditions throughout the next week. The maximum temperature is forecast to reach 42 degrees Celsius on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures may slightly dip to 41 degrees Celsius on Wednesday before rising further to 43 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
With temperatures consistently crossing the 40-degree mark, residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours and take necessary precautions against heat-related discomfort.
