New Delhi: Delhi residents are likely to experience warm and mostly dry weather on Wednesday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is no significant possibility of rainfall in the national capital today.
The day is expected to begin with sunshine, while light clouds may appear in the sky. Winds from the northwest direction are likely to blow at a speed of around 20-25 kmph, providing some relief from the heat.
As per IMD’s forecast, Delhi’s maximum temperature is expected to remain between 34°C and 36°C, while the minimum temperature may settle around 25°C to 27°C.
Despite strong winds, humidity levels may make people feel uncomfortable during the day. However, the breeze is expected to reduce the impact of the heat to some extent.
While Delhi will remain mostly dry today, weather conditions may change in the coming days. The IMD has predicted chances of rainfall in the capital on September 11 and 12.
Residents may witness fluctuations in temperature throughout the week as changing weather patterns influence the region.
On Tuesday, September 8, Delhi-NCR witnessed partly cloudy conditions. The Safdarjung weather station recorded a maximum temperature of 35°C, which was around 1.5 degrees above normal.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 24.7°C, slightly below normal. Several parts of the city also experienced strong winds during the day, offering temporary relief from the heat.
