Jaipur: US Vice President JD Vance, his wife Usha Vance, and three children arrived at Amer Fort at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. During this, he was taken inside the palace in an open jeep from the elephant stand.
From Open Jeeps to Elephant Salutes
On reaching Jaleb Chowk, elephants Pushpa and Chanda gave a grand welcome to the Vance family with flowers and saluted them.
Accordig to Dynamite News correspondent, a red carpet was laid to welcome him to Amer Fort. On this occasion, he was mesmerized by watching Rajasthani traditional dance and was seen telling interesting things about it to his children.

After some time, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Deputy CM Diya Kumari welcomed him. After this, Vance along with his family went to see the places of visit built in the inner part of the fort.
Many pictures and videos of JD Vance and family have emerged from within the fort. The city of Jaipur was beautifully decorated to welcome Vance.
White cloth decorations were done from New Gate to Tripolia Gate and Badi Chaupad, where the national flags of India and America were installed.
From Delhi’s Akshardham to Jaipur’s Amer Fort
There was similar decoration on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, which was showing a spectacular view for the guests. However, after the announcement of mourning on the death of Pope Francis, the flags of India and America on Jaipur’s Badi Chaupad were taken down.
Vance is staying in the Presidential Suite of Rambagh Palace in Jaipur. From 7:30 am, he came out of the suite and walked barefoot in the garden. After this, he had breakfast with his family.
Vance is on his four-day visit to India. On Monday, he reached Delhi, where he visited the Akshardham Temple and met PM Modi, pictures of which also surfaced. He reached Jaipur on Monday night itself. Extensive security arrangements were made in Jaipur.
