Dehradun: An important conference was held today at the Taj Mussoorie Hotel in Uttarakhand to strengthen the justice system and ensure access to justice for all. Several senior judges from the judiciary participated in the press conference and shared important ideas for improving the justice system.

Conference Inaugurated

The program began with the lighting of a lamp by senior Supreme Court judges and Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court Manoj Kumar Gupta.

On this occasion, Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Gupta expressed his views on improving the justice system. He said, "Access to justice is not just a legal concept, but a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution."

Aim to Strengthen the Justice System

Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari of the Uttarakhand State Legal Services Authority stated that the objective of this conference was to strengthen the legal system so that everyone can easily access justice. He emphasized various reforms to remove obstacles to justice.

Access to Justice through Digitalization

Supreme Court Judge Justice N. Kotiswar Singh stated that the use of digital technology is essential to modernize the judicial system. He explained that digitalization will expedite the judicial process and ensure access to justice for every citizen.

Message from Chairperson of Supreme Court Legal Cell

Justice J.K. Maheshwari, Chairperson of the Supreme Court Legal Cell, stated that justice is today very expensive and delayed, and it is essential to make it accessible and affordable for every citizen. He presented several suggestions for improving the judicial system.

This conference is an important step towards improving the judicial system and ensuring universal access to justice. Senior officials of the judiciary gave serious consideration to this topic and emphasized the need to make the judicial process more transparent and expeditious through digital technology. This is being considered a necessary initiative under the accountability and constitutional responsibility of the judiciary.
