New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the posting of 37 Joint Secretary (JS) and 1 Additional Secretary (AS)-level officers across key ministries and departments of the Government of India. 1. M Angamuthu, IAS (AM:2002) – appointed as Chairperson (JS level), Mumbai Port Authority, Mumbai; vice Rajiv Jalota, IAS (MH:1988).
2. Pawan Kumar Sharma, IAS (MP:1999) – Additional Secretary, Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence – appointed as Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India.
