The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has clarified that there is sufficient availability of petrol and diesel at all petrol pumps across the country. People have also been warned not to carry fuel in loose or improper containers or store such containers at home, as this could pose serious safety risks.
In its official statement, the government stated that there is adequate supply of petrol and diesel at retail outlets across the country, i.e., petrol pumps. Citizens need not panic and hoard fuel. The Ministry stated that incidents of improper fuel handling have been reported at some locations, and immediate action is being taken.
