Dehradun: Helicopter service will not be available for devotees this year during Baba Amarnath Yatra.

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board has informed through an important notice that during Baba Amarnath Yatra, Pahalgam and Baltal routes have been declared flying zones from 1 July to 10 August.

Therefore, helicopter service will not be available for devotees in the area of ​​​​the Yatra.

All devotees have been advised to take note of this. Those who are planning to visit the holy cave of Shri Baba Amarnath ji have been advised to take note of this information.

Devotees will have to travel on foot or by Pony or Palki service to visit the holy cave of Shri Amarnath.

Let us tell you that Baba Amarnath Yatra is starting from July 3, which will be of 38 days and will conclude on 9 August, the day of Raksha Bandhan.

Helicopter service was running every year from Pahalgam and Baltal route. Online booking was done for the route on both sides and different fares were fixed.

Due to the declaration of no-flying zone, it has been decided not to provide helicopter service.
