Millions of Candidates Await Results
New Delhi: Millions of candidates who appeared in the IBPS Clerk Recruitment Exam 2025, conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), are now eagerly awaiting their preliminary results.
According to reports, the IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2025 will be released soon on the official website, ibps.in. Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to download their scorecard using their registration number and password.
IBPS conducted the preliminary exam for clerk recruitment on October 4, 5, and 11, 2025. The exam was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode, with a total of 100 objective questions.
The purpose of the exam was to evaluate the candidates' reasoning, English, and numerical ability.
The IBPS Clerk Prelims included a total of three sections:
A total of 100 questions were to be answered in 1 hour. There was a provision for negative marking (0.25 marks) for each incorrect answer. This exam is only of a qualifying nature, meaning its marks are not included in the final merit list.
IBPS has stated in the official notification that the Clerk Prelims result will be released in November 2025. However, the exact date and time have not yet been announced.
It is expected that the result link will be activated on the website by the second week of November.
Candidates who score equal to or more than the cutoff marks will be eligible to appear in the IBPS Clerk Mains Exam 2025.
The prelims only determine eligibility, while the final selection will depend on the candidate's performance in the mains and interview.
This year, a total of 13,533 vacancies will be filled under the IBPS Clerk 2025 recruitment. The application process for these positions ran from August 1st to August 21st, 2025.
After the final results, the selected candidates will be appointed as Customer Service Associates (Clerks) in public sector banks (PSBs) across the country.
