The Indo-China War of 1962 was a border conflict that lasted from 20 October to 21 November 1962, in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. The war was fought mainly in the areas around Aksai Chin and the McMahon Line. China won the war, and India lost.

The war was primarily fought over the Kashmir region, following Pakistan's intrusion into Indian territory under "Operation Gibraltar". India retaliated by attacking Pakistan, sparking a wider war.

The Indo-Pakistani War of 1971
The Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, also known as the Third Indo-Pakistani War, lasted from December 3, 1971 to December 16, 1971. The war took place primarily in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), where India supported the Mukti Bahini in the Bangladesh Liberation War. Pakistan began the war by attacking Indian Air Force bases on December 3, after which India retaliated by attacking East Pakistan. On December 16, 1971, Pakistani forces surrendered in Dhaka, resulting in the creation of Bangladesh.

The Kargil War of 1999 was an armed conflict fought between India and Pakistan in the Kargil district of Kashmir from May to July 1999. In this war, the Pakistani army and Pakistani-backed militants infiltrated Indian territory. The Indian Army and Air Force successfully repelled the Pakistani intruders and retook their land.
