New Delhi: India is celebrating its 79th Independence Day with great pride and enthusiasm today. This year's theme has been kept as "New India," which indicates the continuous development and progress of the country. On this special occasion, many leaders, including the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, have wished the countrymen a Happy Independence Day and called for taking a pledge for the bright future of the country.

Prime Minister Modi's message and historic speech from the Red Fort

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen on the social media platform 'X' (formerly Twitter) and wrote that this day should bring new energy and enthusiasm to every Indian. He said that on this Independence Day we should work together to achieve the goal of "Developed India 2047."

After this, he hoisted the tricolor from the ramparts of the Red Fort in Delhi and, in his speech to the nation, emphasized the progress, self-reliance, and social unity of the country. He recalled the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and said that to realize their dreams, we have to move forward unitedly.

Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also congratulated

Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated the countrymen and saluted the heroes of the freedom struggle. He said that we should work together towards building a strong and developed India. At the same time, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh saluted the contribution of the soldiers deployed in the security of the country and said that this day reminds us of those heroes who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country. He urged the countrymen that we should keep striving to build a safe, prosperous, and strong India.
