Assam: An Indian Air Force Indian Air Force AN-32 transport aircraft crashed while attempting to land at the Jorhat Air Force Station in Assam, officials confirmed on Saturday.

According to the IAF, the aircraft went down within the premises of the air base during its landing approach. The impact triggered a massive fire, prompting an immediate emergency response. Firefighting and rescue teams were quickly deployed to bring the blaze under control.
