Indian planes will not be able to enter Pakistan airspace till 24 August

According to NOTAM (notice to airmen), no civilian or military aircraft of Indian airlines will be allowed entry into Pakistan airspace. This order has been implemented from 3:50 pm last evening.

New Delhi: After Operation Sindoor, Pakistan had closed its airspace for Indian planes. Recently Pakistan has extended this ban till 24 August.

Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) has given this information. According to NOTAM (notice to airmen), no civilian or military aircraft of Indian airlines will be allowed entry into Pakistan airspace. This order has been implemented from 3:50 pm last evening.

How long will the order remain in force?

PAA gave information in the notice that this ban will remain in force till 5:19 am on 24 August 2025 as per Indian time. Let us tell you that after the Pahalgam attack on 22 April, a situation of tension had arisen between India and Pakistan. During Operation Sindoor, both the countries had closed their airspace for each other's planes.

India had banned it first
The Indian government had announced the closure of its airspace for Pakistani planes on 30 April, after which Pakistan also closed its airspace for Indian planes. India had imposed this ban on Pak Airlines planes till 24 July, which is still in effect.
