IndiGo flight from Patna makes emergency landing in Delhi

New Delhi: An IndiGo flight coming from Patna to Delhi made an emergency landing on Wednesday morning. There were 169 passengers on board this plane. After landing, this flight has been cancelled, and the matter is being investigated.

According to preliminary information, the IndiGo flight coming from Patna to Delhi had to make an emergency landing due to a bird hit. According to the Dynamite News correspondent, after the emergency landing, another flight is being arranged for IndiGo passengers from Patna airport.

It is being said that IndiGo flight IGO5009 going from Patna to Delhi had a technical fault, due to which the flight had to make an emergency landing. Let us tell you that after the bird hit the flight, there was a problem in the engine, due to which it had to return to Patna airport. However, all the passengers and crew are safe in this incident.

Let us tell you that Patna airport officials informed us that the flight took off at 8:42 am Indian time, but during the flight, vibration was reported in one of the engines of the plane. As soon as this information was received by the Approach Control Unit, the flight was instructed to return to Patna.

After which the Indigo flight was safely landed on Runway 7 at 9:03 am Indian time. After this incident, a complete investigation of the flight is being done, and security measures are also being reviewed.

The airport administration said that alternate flights are being arranged to take the passengers to their destination. No passenger was injured in this incident, and everyone was evacuated safely. The airlines issued a statement regarding the incident and said that the safety of the passengers is a priority and all necessary steps are being taken to take them safely to their destination.
