New Delhi: The Indigo crisis has shaken the entire country over the past week. Air travelers have faced immense difficulties. Thousands of flights were canceled, forcing people to wait in long lines at airports for refunds and baggage claims. The government was closely monitoring the entire situation. Now, the Union Aviation Minister has made a statement on the matter in Parliament.

Union Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu stated unequivocally that the government will take a strict stance following the recent events. The government will set an example for all airlines to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.

What did the Union Minister say in Parliament?
Speaking about the Indigo crisis in Parliament, Union Minister Naidu said, "Strict Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs) have been put in place to address the inconvenience caused to passengers due to flight delays or cancellations. All airlines must comply with these regulations. An investigation has been launched into the software malfunction."

Aviation Minister issues warning
The Union Minister said, "After the government's intervention, you have seen that things have started to improve over the last two days. The matter is being investigated. We will not only take strict action but will also set an example for all airlines in the future."

Ram Mohan Naidu said in Parliament, "We care about the pilots, crew members, and passengers. We had made it clear to all airlines. Indigo was supposed to manage its crew and roster, but they failed, causing considerable inconvenience to passengers. We will set an example for all airlines. We have initiated an investigation, and strict action will be taken in this matter."
