Rajouri: Alert troops of the Indian Army thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Thursday. The operation was carried out in the Sunderbani sector after security forces detected suspicious movement in the Nathua Tibba area during the early hours of the day.
According to defence officials, the movement of suspected terrorists was picked up through intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance. Troops of the Army’s White Knight Corps were already on heightened alert, enabling a rapid response once the activity was confirmed.

Security forces engaged with swift and calibrated fire, preventing the infiltrators from crossing over. The timely action ensured that the attempt was neutralised before any breach of the LoC could take place.
