New Delhi: Among the four eminent persons nominated by President Droupadi Murmu for the Rajya Sabha recently, one prominent name is Dr Meenakshi Jain. Dr Meenakshi Jain paid special attention to the structure and cultural development of Indian society along with the study of history. In 2020, the Government of India honored her with Padma Shri for her incomparable contribution to the field of Indian literature and education. Earlier in 2014, she was nominated as a member of the Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR).
