Miracle in Ahmedabad plane crash: Two people survive despite near-death experience

Ahmedabad: The horrific aircraft accident on Thursday afternoon has shocked the entire country. The Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London crashed just 30 seconds after AI-171 took off. So far, 240 people have been confirmed in the accident, while the news of the miraculous survival of two passengers has come to light.

A video of one of these injured passengers, Ramesh Vishwas Kumar, has also surfaced, in which he is seen pleading for his brother. According to information received by the Dynamite News correspondent, Ramesh Vishwas Kumar, who was said to be a resident of Jharkhand, was going from Ahmedabad Airport to London.

He was sitting in aircraft seat 11A. In the video that surfaced after the accident, Ramesh’s face is seen, and he is seen leaving the scene. Ramesh said, “After about 30 seconds of the takeoff, suddenly the loud sound came and everything was shaken.” When I came to my senses, there were only corpses around me.

Plane pieces were scattered. Someone came and picked me up and put me in an ambulance.”

My brother is alive or…

Ramesh says that his brother was also traveling with him on the plane, but so far no clue has been found. He appealed to the people emotionally, “Please help me find my brother.” I don’t know if he is alive or…” His voice was filled with this sentence.

240 people were killed, and 2 remained alive

This Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft of Air India had a total of 242 people, including 230 passengers and 12 crew members. According to the passenger list, there were 169 Indians, 53 British, 7 Portuguese, and 1 Canadian citizens. The aircraft flew from Ahmedabad Airport at around 1:38 pm and hit a building in the Meghaninagar area at 1:40, after 2 minutes.

Many doctors died

The horrors of the accident can be gauged from the fact that the building that the aircraft hit was the residential quarter of the doctors of the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. There were about 50 to 60 doctors present at the time of the accident, out of which more than 15 were seriously injured. Many others have suffered minor injuries. Apart from this, some also died.

Identification of burnt dead bodies is difficult

Rescue teams said that most of the bodies found on the spot have been badly scorched. The condition of many bodies is so bad that their identity will be possible only through forensic investigation and DNA tests.

The administration has established a special helpline and relief center for identification of the dead. After this accident, Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited the spot.
