National player embarks on Dandavat Kanwar Yatra for sick friends; Says only hope is Bholenath

Sonipat: Two youths Ashok Dahiya and Deepak of Nahri village in Sonipat district of Haryana, presenting an example of friendship and devotion, have started a 210 km long Dandavat Kanwar Yatra from Haridwar for the health benefits of their two seriously ill friends, reports Dynamite News correspondent.

The purpose of this difficult and resourceless journey is only that with the grace of Bholenath, the kidney disease of their friends gets cured.

Expression Of Emotions

This amazing journey has started from Haridwar, from where both the youths are moving forward bowing to the ground (doing Dandavat) at every step. Ashok Dahiya said that this is the most emotional and difficult journey of his life so far. He and his companion Deepak are deeply hurt by the illness of their friends. Both the friends have kidney failure and one of them needs regular dialysis.

National player Of Kabaddi And Bodybuilding

Ashok Dahiya is not an ordinary youth. He has been a national level player of Kabaddi and bodybuilding. He has done Kanwar Yatra 28 times including Gaumukh so far, but this time's journey is the most special and the most difficult for him. Ashok says, "Our friends are struggling between life and death. We thought that there can be no better way to pray to Bholenath than this."

Heartfelt Welcome

When Ashok and Deepak reached Daha village of Baghpat during this Dandavat Yatra, the villagers there gave them a grand welcome. People showered them with flowers. Offered them water, fruits and blessed them for the journey. The villagers called it a 'unique example of devotion and friendship' and said that prayers done with such determination and emotion definitely bear fruit.

Supporting Team

Ashok and Deepak are not alone in this difficult journey. Vikas, Aman, Deepak Sharma, Vishal, Bunty and Harsh are supporting them. All of them are providing them with essential items, medicines, water and a place to rest through a tractor-trolley. This team is not only helping in the day and night penance, but is also giving mental strength.

Both the youths have full faith that Bholenath will give a new life to their friends. This Dandavat Yatra of Ashok and Deepak is also going viral on social media. Where people are appreciating their devotion, friendship and dedication.
