NCP (SP) Chief Under Observation at Ruby Hall Clinic
Pune: Senior Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader Sharad Pawar has been admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune again. He visited the hospital for a routine check-up on Sunday, where doctors found him suffering from mild dehydration. Vomiting had caused fluid loss, leading to two days of observation in the hospital.
Dr Purvez Grant, chief cardiologist at Ruby Hall Clinic, stated that Sharad Pawar's condition is stable and there is no cause for concern. He underwent blood tests and a CT scan, all of which came back normal. According to doctors, he currently requires fluid support and rest. He is expected to be discharged home after two days.
The 85-year-old leader was admitted to the same hospital last week. He complained of difficulty breathing and a persistent cough. Tests confirmed a chest infection, following which he was kept under observation for a few days. After treatment, he was discharged home and doctors advised three to four days of rest.
His daughter and MP, Supriya Sule, was also present with him during his hospitalization. Sharing information on the social media platform X, she said that Sharad Pawar would soon fully recover and return to his regular work. She also expressed gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and support staff at Ruby Hall Clinic.
