New Delhi: An important meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) regarding the vice presidential election was held in Parliament House today. In this meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the selection of the vice presidential candidate and the election strategy.

After the meeting, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju informed the media that the NDA has unanimously handed over the right to select the vice presidential candidate to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda.

This means that now the name of the NDA candidate will be decided by PM Modi and Nadda. According to sources, the name of the NDA candidate can be announced on August 12.

The meeting was chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, in which Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, and senior leaders of other NDA constituent parties participated.

The process of vice presidential election was also discussed in the meeting. Since this election is held by secret ballot and no whip is issued in it, the NDA decided that its MPs will be trained in the voting process. The purpose of this is to ensure that there is no technical mistake during voting and no vote is invalid.

NDA's position is quite strong in this election, as Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has already announced unconditional support. This is expected to give NDA an edge in the election.

During the press conference, Kiren Rijiju rejected the allegations of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in which he accused the Election Commission of bias. Rijiju said that Congress always attacks constitutional institutions when their decisions are not in their favor.

He also clarified that issues like SIR (Special Investigation Report) cannot be discussed in the Lok Sabha, as it is against parliamentary rules. In short, NDA has started preparations for the vice presidential election seriously, and the name of the candidate will be announced soon.

NDA has a numerical edge in this election, but still the party does not want to be careless. The decision to train MPs is a cautious step in this direction. Stay tuned to Dynamite News for further updates.
